Research Objective

To enhance an integrated enzymatic conversion system for producing formate from industrial byproduct gases (CO and CO2), and to develop core technologies for synthesizing high-value chemical compounds

Core Technologies

To develop technologies that efficiently convert byproduct gases from the steel industry into high-value products under mild conditions (low temperature and pressure), our research focuses on the following areas:

    Development of core enzymes for efficient conversion of byproduct CO

    Engineering of microbial strains for large-scale production of CO-converting enzymes

    Design of an integrated CO/CO2 conversion system with high efficiency and low energy requirements
