Core Technologies

We are developing hybrid conversion technologies and scale-up foundation technologies to transform C1 gases present in industrial off-gases into valuable compounds.
In particular, our research focuses on: Production of organic acid derivatives and biodegradable polymer materials using CO/CO2 in off-gases Low-energy simultaneous CH4/CO2 conversion technology using low-temperature plasma Hybrid off-gas treatment technology for simultaneous electrochemical and biological conversion of CH4/CO2 Through these developments, we are accelerating carbon reduction technologies using industrial off-gases.

Key Outcomes

  • 1. Lactone and acrylic acid derivatives produced via epoxide carbonylation serve as essential raw materials for PHA (biodegradable polymers) and SAP (superabsorbent polymers).

  • 2. By utilizing hybrid linkage technologies that can simultaneously convert various low-grade mixed gases, we can overcome existing technological limitations and create new possibilities.

  • 3. These advancements will enable higher efficiency and economic feasibility, paving the way for innovative industrial applications.
